Our Mission

Rebuilding Together Summit County provides home rehabilitation services, in partnership with the community, to improve the quality of life of low-income elderly and disabled homeowners so they may live in warmth, safety, and independence.

We do this by developing...

  • Partnerships with local municipalities through which we coordinate information and work to provide each homeowner with the best support possible.

  • Partnerships with local businesses and trade unions who help supply labor and other assistance throughout the year.

  • Partnerships with local civic clubs, churches, student groups, and neighborhood organizations who supply volunteers and financial support.

We accomplish this through...

Our “Community Toolbox”

Our tool box is composed of the volunteer and financial support for our four program components. To learn more about our program components, click on the links to the left.

Our History

The program began in Summit County in 1995 when community, government, civic, and religious leaders and private citizens recognized the need for additional resources to help those most in need in the community.
